My sisters and I lost our much loved father in March 2025 who had courageously brought us up on his own. We wanted an agent who we could be trusted with our family home of 54 years. So we contacted a dear family friend who put us on to Jackie McDermott and Rex Baddeley, my sisters and I when we met Jackie & Rex had an instant connection, felt comfortable and so natural so we hired these two to do the job and what a challenge it was! Dads house was an old 1930's house that was moved from Avondale in the early 1970's. So our house was pretty much well loved if you get my drift! Anyway Jackie & Rex worked really hard to guide us and advise us with many an open home. Eventually selling the property, and yes you could say "well that's their job" but from our experience it was more than that, communication was constant even after hours or Saturday morning watching the grandchildren playing sport both were always available, almost like part of the family through this journey. If you are looking for Real Estate Agents to sell your home then I think they don't come any better than the team of Jackie and Rex. I recently sold my home and with their help, support and persistence achieved a price that allowed me to buy into a retirement village and live there comfortably for the foreseeable future. The buyers were not the easiest to deal with and a second opinion was needed for the building inspection - Jackie gave me a number of suggestions of reliable and experienced inspectors and the outcome was excellent I'm very grateful for their knowledge, experience and unfailing support and would recommend them to anyone looking for a 5 out of 5 star service for what is rarely an easy process.

We had the privilege of working with Jackie and Rex when we needed to sell my mother in laws unit. From the first meeting with them we liked them and felt comfortable that we could work together. The advice they gave us was very sensible as the unit was very sound but very tired in decor and they were sensitive in helping us make decisions. Instead of pouring money into carpets and drapes it was suggested a good clean and declutter inside and out. This was completed with lots of positive encouragement from both Jackie and Rex who kept popping in to see the progress. The unit went onto the market as planned and an offer was made at the second open home. Everything from that time forward went very well with open communication, and the sale of the unit went ahead with no complications. It was a pleasure having Jackie and Rex on our team and would highly recommend them.
